Trash of the Count’s Family Part 2 Chapter 393: The Birth of Evil (10)

Earth 3.

The country of Roan within it.

“Did you see it?”

“Wow, what the hell?”

“Right? Apparently they haven’t fully suppressed the museum yet?”

The people who woke up in the morning as usual…

Or the people who had to wake up because of the incident that happened in the morning…

Everybody was watching the news or reading the newspaper headlines, discussing the ‘Transparent Museum Explosion’ incident.

It was the topic regardless of man or woman, old or young.

At home, at work, at school, even online.

Any place where people gathered was talking about it.

Actually, it went beyond Roan. Basically all of Earth 3 was talking about this incident.

‘Wow, this doesn’t seem like a simple incident.”

It was because there was so much to talk about.

“Wait, but the museum was originally a different building?”

The Transparent ©’s building that was camouflaged as a museum…

“But more importantly, why did President Ahn Roh Man suddenly show up there?”

President Ahn Roh Man’s sudden appearance…

“By the way… Who was that ability user? What was it? A fire power? I couldn’t get a good look at her because she was covered by a red aura, but… What a jackpot of an ability.”

“Seriously! Are there no closer footage of the incident? I want to recruit her to our guild!”

“Oh, come on. She’s obviously one of Ahn Roh Man’s people. Do you really think she would come to us?”

A new ability user with an amazing power.

“But isn’t this considered terrorism?”

“Is Ahn Roh Man fighting against the Transparent ©?”

“Is this okay?”

“No, more importantly, who was that guy clad in black? He seemed to be from a different group than that magic user?”

“Yeah. He said Arm, didn’t he?”

“Was it the God of Chaos? I think he is part of a group that worships that god. Isn’t it some kind of cult?”

The appearance of a religion for the God of Chaos and this group called Arm that worships him…

“Holy shit. What a mess.”

“Hey. Even though we don’t know what is going on, this is quite entertaining, isn’t it?”

“You think this is fun? Is it fun when we have no idea what is about to happen to our country?”

“It was only two days ago when the Transparent © struck at Ahn Roh Man’s aide. This time, it looks like Ahn Roh Man is doing something.”

“That is why I’m calling it a mess! A total fucking mess!”

People’s discussions went down all sorts of different paths and hypotheses.

It could not be helped.

“Is there nothing else?”

“I don’t know! Both sides are quiet right now!”

Both the Transparent © and President Ahn Roh Man’s side…

Neither side was saying anything.

The news was calling in all sorts of experts and endlessly discussing this morning’s incident, but…

There was no official update.

At least until now.

“Oh!”

At that time, someone looking at their phone, their TV, their computer screen…

Everybody started to watch the news.

“It’s the Transparent ©! They’ve finally said something!”

Someone from the Transparent ©’s PR department was speaking on the screen.

“What happened this morning is clearly an act of terrorism.”

The Transparent © had pulled a knife out toward President Ahn Roh Man.

“President Ahn Roh Man personally gathered troops to attack the Transparent Museum that the Transparent © has made for all of the citizens of Roan. We are requesting severe consequences for this, and furthermore-”

The person looked right at the screen.

“We request for the arrest of the terrorists who assisted President Ahn Roh Man in bombing the museum and for them to receive severe consequences as well.”

People reacted to this statement.

==============

– Damn. Ahn Roh Man and the Transparent © are going at it?

– You think that will be a fight? Who can defeat a transcendent corporation?

– Then does that mean that this Arm thing? That guy in black and the red ability user are both on Ahn Roh Man’s side?

– Dunno? We can’t be certain about that.

– You dumbass. The red ability user left together with Ahn Roh Man on a helicopter, rofl.

– What about that black dude? The guy who used the fiery thunderbolts to destroy everything. Honestly speaking, wasn’t he the one who destroyed the museum?

– …Huh? That’s true?

– It is. Ahn Roh Man and the red lady just destroyed the museum’s shell? The camouflage? They only revealed that.

– …That’s true?

– Either way, it’s going to be pure chaos, hahaha.

– You can laugh in this situation, you crazy bastard?

– Then should I cry?

– I guess you’re right.

==============

While these kinds of discussions were going on, a few people were looking at the Transparent ©’s official statement with odd gazes.

“…Doesn’t it feel like the Transparent © is trying to brush past it?”

“Did you feel that way too?”

“Yes. They are focused on the explosion of the museum but they are not saying anything about the camouflage, the revealed true nature of the museum, and why Ahn Roh Man did such a thing.”

“That’s right. Furthermore, one of the mysterious people clearly stated that he was a part of Arm. But why are they not mentioning Arm at all? They openly and pompously called out Ahn Roh Man but not him.”

“Seriously. This seems a bit-”

The people in the political realm, finance realm, and the ability users guild… They, as well as everybody who was taking a closer look at the situation realized something.

“This feels weird, doesn’t it?”

“It does feel weird.”

The Transparent ©. A transcendent corporation that had a lot of power not just in Roan but in the entire Earth 3.

They were talking about wanting severe consequences, but their actions seemed a bit passive.

“Furthermore, they sent one person to make a statement for such an incident?”

“Right? I don’t recall this person stepping in for something of this level before.”

“I think we need to dig into it a bit.”

An odd current was flowing through the crowd.

Cale put the tablet down and looked at the TV screen.

The PR rep was still saying something but Cale still spoke up.

“This situation must be a complicated one for the Transparent © as well.”

“Probably. It’s best for them to only focus on Ahn Roh Man.”

Alberu put down the teacup in his hand.

“Mm. But I didn’t think they would completely leave Arm out.”

Choi Sun Hee, the President of the Sun © , shook her head as if she was not satisfied.

“Maybe it is because they can’t bring up the God of Chaos so openly?”

Rosalyn smiled as she commented.

The four of them were currently in the office on the top floor of the Sun Building, enjoying teatime.

“Who knows.”

Choi Sun Hee still looked disappointed.

“I don’t know about Honorary Chairman Han Taek Soo, but I at least expected the Executive Director, Han Seo Young, to step up.”

The current Chairman was basically Han Taek Soo’s puppet. Everybody basically knew that the true heir was Han Seo Young.

Rosalyn started speaking.

“The Hunters probably don’t want people to know that there is a God of Chaos. There might also be some internal conflicts if they say the wrong thing about the God of Chaos, so they may try to look for information in the shadows rather than openly bringing it up.”

“Mm.”

Choi Sun Hee stopped for a moment before continuing to speak.

“But I don’t think it would be good for them to gloss over it like this. They know that Kang Geun Mok betrayed them and that we swiped their information. If they just leave it all alone-”

“Ahn Roh Man’s side would have the upper hand.”

Alberu said that and picked his teacup back up.

The teacup covered his mouth, but everybody could see that he was smiling.

“The Transparents are not an easy opponent, so I’m sure they are well aware.”

He held back a quiet chuckle and continued.

“Tackling suspicion with suspicion. They should also know that sometimes, the truth is buried by the one who talks louder.”

“Mm!”

Rosalyn realized something and slightly scowled. These were the times that she felt like she was not suited for politics and that Alberu Crossman was a member of a Royal family.

At that moment…

“He’s coming out.”

the silent Cale pointed at the TV.

The location inside the screen was getting chaotic.

It was because someone showed up.

Executive Director Han Seo Young.

He was known as Honorary Chairman Han Taek Soo’s grandson.

He was also the young patriarch of the Transparent Bloods.

The person Cale said bye to earlier was now on the screen.

“This is his first time in such an official role.”

Choi Sun Hee’s comment made it clear about the strong impact the appearance of the Executive Director would have.

Executive Director Han Seo Young looked at the screen with a stiff expression on his face as he started to speak.

“Our Transparent © has tried not to cause any more chaos than necessary because it is a company that started in Roan, but… Now that violence has been used against us, I am here because I felt that it was my duty to inform all of you the truth about something, the reason our Transparent © was attacked like this.”

“Executive Director-nim!”

“Executive Director-nim, you can’t do this. We should discuss this and later-”

“No. I cannot just sit back and do nothing.”

The PR rep and his secretary coming to stop him were all shown on TV.

“Oh, he’s a decent actor.”

Alberu was truly amazed.

Han Seo Young showed the passion of youth as his people tried to stop him. He passionately said each word as if he was someone who loved Roan and wanted the best for Roan and the Transparent ©.

“President Ahn Roh Man has meddled with a cult worshipping the God of Chaos and has committed all sorts of evil deeds, such as the one with his top aide Mary and that elementary site. Furthermore, this morning’s incident happened because he wanted to get rid of our Transparent © for trying to stop them from taking over Roan!”

Han Seo Young’s calm voice slowly got louder before he was basically shouting with desperation.

“We must stop the heinous Ahn Roh Man, a villain wearing the mask of a hero, and that group, Arm, that is working with him! Otherwise a dreadful chaos will befall our Roan!”

“Wow.”

President Choi Sun Hee was amazed.

“Him acting like this will make people not believe Ahn Roh Man even if Ahn Roh Man tells the truth.”

“Mm.”

Rosalyn groaned and peeked to the side. Cale was staring at his tablet.

“Is something there, young master Cale?”

“As I expected-”

Cale started smiling.

“People sure are smart.”

“Excuse me?”

Rosalyn was confused but Cale just turned off the tablet screen.

The thing he had been looking at was the ‘RPOG Community.’

==============

< Don’t you remember hearing about Arm somewhere? >

I… why does that name sound so familiar?

– Holy shit! Wow, I just remembered! The Western Empire! They were the bastards that attacked the Western Empire’s Church of the Sun God!

– Huh?

– … Really?

– Yeah!! Didn’t they also call themselves Arm and that they serve the God of Chaos?

– …It’s not just the name Arm that is the same but the God of Chaos as well?

– Hey hey! The clothes are the same too!

– (Link)

– Holy shit, the crest on the clothes are the same too!

– Holy moly.

– How does this make any sense? Doesn’t it feel like we realized something super big?

– Nah, no way.

– That ‘no way’ gets people killed.

– Then are you saying there is a group that is associated with RPOG and the real world? ROFL. How does that make any sense?

– Then do the things that guy is saying on the TV right now make any sense?

==============

Cale pointed toward the TV for the confused Rosalyn.

“Ahn Roh Man should be coming out soon too.”

Cale’s side had already discussed it with him.

The announcer soon delivered some urgent news.

“President Ahn Roh Man is planning an emergency announcement!”

Rosalyn watched the screen change and felt a bit worried.

‘He should do a good job, right?’

Ahn Roh Man should be able to handle Han Seo Young and the Transparent ©, right?

It would not be good if something like this ended up dragging out in a search for the truth.

Peek.

Alberu and Choi Sun Hee were seated next to each other.

These two were thinking about how to move quickly to dig into any openings created by the Transparent © to swallow it up.

The Sun © was holding onto its money and not doing anything with it right now for that reason.

Rosalyn thought that Ahn Roh Man would do a good job and suppressed her anxiety as she watched the TV.

“Mm.”

He then groaned.

“…….”

Ahn Roh Man was silent inside the TV.

He just silently stood there.

But nobody could urge him to say anything.

His bloodshot eyes…

His closed lips…

His tightly clenched fists…

Anybody could tell that he was extremely angry right now.

His entire body was shaking with rage.

“Good.”

Alberu calmly commented.

“He shouldn’t show no reaction after watching that bastard talk.”

Cale had shared the stolen documents with Ahn Roh Man’s side.

‘Can I take a look inside?’

‘Yes.’

Ahn Roh Man had seen the contents.

The contents that were so bad that Rosalyn almost vomited after reading through it the first time… Ahn Roh Man had taken a look at that terrible and dreadful thing as well.

“…….”

Ahn Roh Man was silent.

It was quite different from Han Seo Young’s desperate shouting.

But nobody could easily open their mouths while watching him.

There were times that silence delivered bigger emotions than speaking.

Ahn Roh Man.

And his close confidants with him…

These people, who had been by Ahn Roh Man’s side since his days as an ability user, all had similar looks on their faces.

They were angry and looked ready to fight.

It was similar to when they were active ability users fighting against monsters.

“…….”

The silence continued.

But the news continued to show the scene.

Finally, Ahn Roh Man opened his mouth after a long time.

“Please come in.”

He said just one thing.

“!”

“Huh?”

“What the hell? Holy shit!”

Even the veteran reporters were so surprised at what happened next.

Tap. Tap.

The person who opened the door and walked inside…

He was someone many people knew.

He had never shown himself, but he was extremely famous as someone’s shadow.

“… Kang Geun Mok!”

As one of the reporters shouted his name in a gasp…

The person who had been with the Transparent © and Honorary Chairman Han Taek Soo as his secretary from the beginning of the Transparent ©…

The person who should be moving busier than anybody else for the Transparent © right now was here.

“…….”

“…….”

An even greater silence fell in the room.

Everybody realized that something big had happened.

This was no longer simple.

Kang Geun Mok, the man with the face that was as dry as an ancient tree, stood by Ahn Roh Man’s side.

A few minutes of silence.

Then Kang Geun Mok.

Ahn Roh Man was showing a lot of things with just these two cards.

He also had one more card to show.

“These are experiment research documents we took from the Transparent ©’s secret lab.”

He picked up an external memory card.

“All of the contents will be slowly explained by Mr. Kang Geun Mok and my top aide, Mary.”

There was so much that it would take a long time.

“I will say just one thing and get out of the way.”

Ahn Roh Man’s eyes were bloodshot and his body was shaking, but his voice was calm and detached.

“Ah, he was a bit different from what I expected.”

Alberu’s mumbling voice as if he realized something reached Cale’s ears.

“That bastard is a hero.”

“He sure is, your highness.”

Cale nodded his head.

The two of them felt like they knew what Ahn Roh Man was about to say.

This level of detachment…

The meaning behind it soon came out of Ahn Roh Man’s mouth.

“It doesn’t matter if I am not elected as the next President. No, I will not be able to do it.”

“Mm.”

Rosalyn groaned and asked.

“Was this a part of the plan?”

“No.”

Choi Sun Hee shook her head.

“!”

“……!”

The silence broke and they could feel that the press room was getting chaotic.

Ahn Roh Man didn’t care and continued to speak.

He shared the reason he could not be the next President.

“The Transparent ©.”

He pointed at the screen with his finger.

“I’m definitely going to fuck up those motherfuckers.”

……!

The crowd started to whisper.

Ahn Roh Man was calm unlike Han Seo Young had been earlier.

But the way he was saying such vicious and crude words with such a calm demeanor…

“Uhh-”

Choi Sun Hee subconsciously commented.

“…It’s like when he was younger.”

Like when he was just starting to be called a hero.

He looked just like the Ahn Roh Man who had done everything he could to get rid of all of the monsters.

He looked just as he had been before he became president.

Ahn Roh Man’s aides and confidants on the screen did not try to stop him.

In fact, the emotion visible on their faces was similar to his.

This was especially true about the people like Mary and a few others who had been by his side since his ability user days. They all looked angry and ready to destroy everything.

Rosalyn looked at Ahn Roh Man’s bloodshot eyes and the passion within them and commented.

“…He wasn’t someone who would just pour out his everything for politics and revenge.”

The position of the next president…

Revenge for his parents…

Choi Sun Hee, who heard Rosalyn’s comment, looked confused as she responded.

“If he was such a person, he would not have given his all to fight against the monsters.”

She had also read the Transparent ©’s research document as well.

She was also someone who called Earth 3, and Roan, her home.

“Ha. This, seriously.”

She scoffed.

“He has a talent for riling people up.”

The anger and passion Choi Sun Hee had been trying hard to suppress was starting to rise up.

The people who did not know anything would find this to be confusing.

“It looks like a big fight is about to continue.”

Even if Ahn Roh Man held the truth, a fight against a transcendent corporation like the Transparent © would not be easy.

Even if the majority was on Ahn Roh Man’s side, the Transparent © had overwhelming money and power to suppress them.

That was why, although Choi Sun Hee was speaking negatively about it, her gaze was getting sharper.

Alberu looked at her and confidently commented.

“There is nothing scarier than determination.”

His gaze turned toward Cale.

“Did you give the files to the Arbitrators too?”

“Yes, your highness.”

Kang Geun Mok started speaking on the TV at that moment.

“The Transparent © has been doing human experimentation until now.”

The same information had been handed over to Aurora, the only heir of the former Demon King.

‘The Demon King has been experimenting on the Demonic race.’

Earth 3.

Ahn Roh Man and the Transparent ©.

The Demon World.

Aurora and the current Demon King.

The people who had been fighting against extremely strong enemies were starting to receive ‘evidence and truth,’ the justification they needed to do what they were doing.

And…

===================

– Hey, it really feels like the RPOG Arm and the Arm here are the same people?

– Hey hey, Chief of Staff Kang Geun Mok just said that the Transparent © is working together with the God of Chaos? Not President Ahn Roh Man?

– They’re not working together with the God of Chaos. They are working with a group worshiping that god. Dafuq? There are no real gods, dude.

– Anyway, Chief Aide Mary said that the red mage was an ally. She said they were able to swipe information thanks to her help. That Arm guy? Apparently they are planning on arresting him too?

– Holy moly. What is going on? RPOG is Virtual Reality while Earth is reality. Why am I getting so confused right now? Is this really okay?

===================

===================

– …Hey… they’re talking about the experiments now…wow…is this for real……?

– …This, this, no, this ain’t right-

– …They really did that? They really killed people and experimented imprisoning their souls in the game?

– …They pretended like monsters attacked a neighborhood… Then took everybody who lived there to experiment on them?

– That abandoned site was one of the graves the Transparent © used? Apparently there are over a dozen other graves… How does that make any sense?

– No, this- wow, some of the souls were offered up to a god?

– Is it the God of Chaos?

– Hey, is this for real? No, is this really happening in the real world?

===================

“What is going on right now?”

The Saint of the God of Chaos.

He scowled while looking at the posts in the RPOG community forums.

“Pope-nim, the situation is going weird. Please contact the Transparent Bloods.”

The Church of the God of Chaos.

They were starting to realize that things were going wrong and making moves.

The things that Cale had done on Earth 3, the Demon World, and all around New World were starting to come together to create a large whirlwind.

“We can just let them fight for a while.”

And at the center of that whirlwind…

At the eye of the storm…

Cale leisurely started to speak.

“Let’s go see Eden Miru’s birth ceremony first.”

To make the whirlwind even bigger…

Cale was just doing the things he needed to do, one at a time.
