Trash of the Count’s Family Part 2 Chapter 378: I’m sure it was not enough (3)

Rumble-

The sky roared.

Baaaang, bang!

The explosions continued.

“Hurry up a bit please!”

“Don’t push! Calm down!”

The scared voices of the people escaping the stadium…

“Give the order for the entire Capital Defense to assemble!”

“The Cooperative Alliance! Quickly arrest the Cooperative Alliance!”

“Send a letter requesting cooperation to all martial artist groups!”

The administrators were doing everything they could to remain alert and move efficiently.

“Go tell the administrators that we will help! We can’t back out here!”

“Send people to the Sky Sword immediately! We need to inform them!”

“The Cooperative Alliance, those crazy bastards! Instead of an heir we are going to get a gust of blood!”

The martial artists of different groups were moving even more efficiently.

The stadium was full of chaos but people were now moving with clearer goals on their minds.

Some people understood the reason for it.

“…It should be because of that cloud.”

The Snow Flower Sect’s Hyun Seong was one of those people.

The dark red cloud that Kim Hae-Yi had created…

The dark red light shining down through that cloud was giving people a chance to do something.

“…….”

She turned her gaze.

The Sword Ghost, Pao Seo Tae, and other experts…

“Your Majesty!”

“…….”

There was also Queen Tamahi, who refused to retreat despite the pleading of her subordinates.

Those who had given their whole lives to martial arts could not look away from somewhere.

Kim Hae-Yi.

The people who had felt chills after seeing his dark red cloud-

“Just what-”

Hyun Seong’s gaze slowly headed to the stage.

“What is that sword-?”

Her gaze was mesmerized by the sword of the person who suddenly appeared and could not move.

Boom. Boom. Boom.

Queen Tamahi could feel her heart beating.

She had been truly amazed when she first saw the dark red cloud. Seeing her people gather their strength back under that cloud, she thought that he was fitting for the future of the Lan Kingdom, whether he was an ally or an enemy.

‘That sword-’

But the moment she saw someone’s sword…

Her heart started to thump as a martial artist.

‘It is so clear.’

Queen Tamahi.

Her sword was her life now.

She had always debated the apex of martial arts while training with her sword.

Baaaaang!

Bang!

The sword continued to release loud noises while clashing with the white thread.

But she had a thought once she saw that sword.

“…It’s a black sword.”

Oooooo– oooooo–

There was a quiet roar and the black aura violently shot up.

It resembled a night sky with stars and it sparkled despite being a dreadful darkness.

There was also a different black aura roaring around the tip of his sword.

Slash!

The black sword sliced the white thread again.

“Yes-”

It was exactly as stated, a sword.

The Queen could clearly feel it because she had, at one point, been the strongest figure in the Lan Kingdom.

‘He has not trained.’

No, based on how he has his basic foundation down… He looked to have learned sword art when he was young, but-

‘Other than that, he learned everything through real battles.’

She was certain that this guy had swung his sword in fierce battles.

Simply to slash…

Simply to block…

Simply to survive-

“To survive-”

There was an unexplainable sense of desperation within this sword.

If I do not swing this sword-

I will be eaten.

My things will be taken away.

‘Yeah.’

That was the reason humans picked up swords in the first place.

Setting aside power or fame or all of those things-

The original reason should have been for survival.

Was there a clearer reason for the sword than that?

“…I’ve been ignoring it.”

Queen Tamahi had ignored it.

No.

She had no need to do so.

As the child of the former King, she did not pick up her sword for survival; she had picked it up to learn martial arts.

That might have been the reason that…

‘I can’t-’

She could not look away from this simple yet violent sword.

And her heart was beating wildly.

If looking at Kim Hae-Yi made her think about the future of the kingdom…

Seeing this man’s sword made her want to fight.

‘However-’

However, the Queen couldn’t help but look at another person every so often for some odd reason.

‘Who is that guy?’

The man wearing a mask and standing between Kim Hae-Yi and the red-haired swordsman.

Who was this guy?

Kim Hae-Yi closed his eyes and calmly started to meditate as if he could rely on this person.

Ruuuumble-

He was probably controlling the cloud in the sky.

Furthermore, the red-haired swordsman also became completely relaxed as he swung the sword once he saw this masked man.

‘Who is he?’

…For some odd reason, she felt like this guy was the leader.

Rather than running away, Tamahi placed a hand on the hilt of her sword and focused on the stage.

She was ready to fight at any moment.

Seeing these three people made her itch for a fight.

Baaaaang!

There was another loud explosion.

Chhh-

Choi Han was pushed back.

He was flung away by the force of the white thread.

“!”

However, So Hee’s pupils shook.

Slash.

Another white thread was slashed away.

This was one that had not even been touched by the Heavenly Demon’s dark red light.

“How-”

She truly could not believe it.

“How could another seed appear?”

When a unique power was first discovered and had not taken its form yet…

That seed stage…

Another seed in addition to Kim Hae-Yi had appeared.

Furthermore-

“…It’s dangerous.”

Despite it being only a seed, it had the power to easily slash away So Hee’s white thread.

This bastard was even more dangerous than Kim Hae-Yi.

‘Was there such a wanderer?’

To think about that…

Tatap!

So Hee did not have the time.

Choi Han lightly pushed off the ground and charged toward So Hee again.

“Fuck!”

So Hee quickly moved both hands.

White threads shot out of her palm.

“Expand.”

As soon as she said that, it turned into dozens of strands and flew toward Choi Han.

Choi Han raised his sword.

‘Wanderer.’

He was not thinking about anything else right now.

The white threads approaching him…

Slash.

He cut one of them.

Slash.

He cut another one.

He then pushed forward.

However, Choi Han could not cut all of the dozens of strands.

Bang!

Baaaaang!

Bang, bang!

Some of them stabbed in the ground around Choi Han or in the path in front of him.

They then released white lights.

It seemed to be creating some sort of domain again.

Choi Han probably resembled a prey jumping into a spider web.

However, Choi Han didn’t have such thoughts.

‘Wanderer-’

He was looking only at So Hee.

He could do that right now.

The Heavenly Demon.

Alberu.

Cale.

These three people were taking care of the things Choi Han usually handled.

Alberu was helping people escape.

The Heavenly Demon set the field so that they could fight.

Furthermore, Cale, who was behind him, would step in to help if Choi Han ended up in any sort of danger.

Today, he could truly just fight.

Choi Han knew why they took care of these things to allow him the chance to fight.

Choi Jung Gun and the wanderer…

Choi Han and Choi Jung Gun…

They took the trouble to create such a situation because they all knew the relationship between the three of them.

At least Choi Han was certain that was the reason.

Cale, who would usually step in saying it was most efficient and easiest if he took care of it, was quiet today.

He probably chose a more cumbersome path for the Heavenly Demon and Choi Han’s benefits.

Slash.

That was why Choi Han could charge forward without any hesitation.

He was not scared of what was behind his back.

‘Forward!’

I just need to look forward.

How wonderful was this?

When he first held the sword and had to fight against monsters, forget front and back, he had to even be scared of the ground he was standing on.

But now-

‘I just need to walk down my own path.’

Choi Han’s mind was about to run wild, not from the desire for revenge but because of an unexplainable feeling of gratitude in his heart.

And he did not suppress it.

Boom. Boom.

The wilder his heart thumped…

Slash!

Slash, slash-

He cut through the white threads faster.

Choi Han did not look at his sword.

But he could feel it.

‘It grew bigger.’

The black aura that had normally only faintly wrapped around Choi Han and his sword was bigger now.

It was also clearer.

‘This power gets stronger the more certainty I have about my path.’

The Heavenly Demon’s aura developed in an explosive manner.

The backing for it was that the Heavenly Demon, who was experiencing something new in New World, had realized that the thing that was most important to him was the Demon Cult.

It should have been because he became certain about the path he needed to travel.

Boom. Boom.

He could see it clearly now.

Yes. He could see it.

The white threads.

When his black aura touches the threads-

‘A path appears.’

Once he got rid of the obstacle in his way, he could see the path he needed to travel.

It was different from team leader Lee Soo Hyuk’s power to slash through anything that Beacrox was learning.

‘Ah.’

Choi Han gasped and kicked off the ground.

Tatap!

He flew up.

Bang!

A white thread stabbed into the ground.

However, Choi Han easily jumped over it and charged forward some more.

He could see a path.

It was a roadmap.

“You little bastard!”

Now getting past dozens-

“Expand!”

The white threads now spread into hundreds of strands.

Screeeeech-

The white light coming out of So Hee got bigger.

The area all around Choi Han was turning white, covered in spider webs.

Oooooo– oooooo–

Choi Han’s sword’s aura was starting to roar quieter in contrast to its violent appearance.

Hundreds of white threads stabbed into the ground like pouring rain.

As the comparison could be made wondering if a human could dodge the rain without an umbrella-

Slash.

Choi Han’s black aura slashed the threads and charged forward.

It didn’t use excessive strength at once.

It was just enough for what was needed to push forward.

Ooooo—

Similar to cries getting more frequent…

The shape of the yong became faint as well.

The shining black aura as well…

The dark presence…

Everything was getting smaller in size.

Ooooo–

Now all that could be seen was the black aura wrapped around the sword in his hand.

Alberu subconsciously stopped moving and quietly observed.

A white storm poured down.

A black-covered Choi Han took a step forward inside the rain.

His appearance-

“…A predatory beast-”

Yes.

He was like a wild animal.

A predatory beast that found its prey and started to make its move in the rain.

The beast’s movements did not need to be excessive.

It had no need to show off.

It just-

“It just needs to catch its prey.”

“Ah.”

Alberu gasped.

‘Yes. That’s it.

Choi Han always fought like this.’

Choi Han had a rough and violent black yong around him, but…

He was not the type to enjoy an attention-grabbing fight.

This fact that Alberu recalled so slowly was something Choi Han already knew.

His start was in the Forest of Darkness for his survival after all.

There was no need to show off there.

In fact, he had to hide when he was weak.

After he became strong-

‘There was even less need to show off.’

The monsters of the Forest of Darkness knew he was strong and avoided him.

Choi Han raised his sword.

Slash.

He slashed another one of the ‘white rain.’

Choi Han heard Cale’s voice behind him.

“Yeah. That’s how a scared prey acts.”

A smile appeared on Choi Han’s face.

Forward.

Choi Han, who was only looking toward his goal, saw So Hee.

“You bastard! You dare!”

So Hee was releasing hundreds of white threads.

Her eyes were full of astonishment and fear.

In order to avoid a predatory beast…

A prey would run away…

Or it would exaggerate its powers in the hope that the beast would run away.

As for the predatory beast, it would just quietly aim for the prey’s neck.

A peaceful voice came out of Choi Han’s mouth.

“Oh, I made it.”

Choi Han, who had seemed like a small dot in So Hee’s white eyes, was now as large as a mountain.

He really had become larger.

“……!”

A predatory beast knew when it needed to use its strength.

It was stupid to save its strength with the prey right in front of it.

Screeeeech-

The dreadful and chilling noise that seemed to be mixed with despair…

That sound disappeared.

Well, it wasn’t accurate to say that the sound disappeared.

“Ah.”

“Ho-”

However, he was so focused on what he was looking at that he could not hear anything.

The large black yong shot up from Choi Han’s body.

– Not yet.

Cale heard the Super Rock’s voice.

– That isn’t an ancient power yet.

The Super Rock’s voice was shaking.

Seeing the Heavenly Demon allowed the Super Rock to realize that the identity of these aura domains were seeds of ancient powers.

– But to be this strong, Choi Han, this child, truly,

The Super Rock commented, almost in amazement.

– He truly is scary.

The black presence that had been faint shot up, almost as if it was exploding, with his aura.

The sparkling black yong was a bit clearer than before.

But it still violently opened its jaws as if its rage was not being hidden.

It charged in the direction of Choi Han’s sword.

“Fuck!”

So Hee pulled a white thread in front of her like a shield.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiip—!

The black yong ripped apart the white thread with its sharp fang, and Choi Han’s sword, Choi Han’s body-

It charged forward while ripping away the spider web.

Finally, he reached his target.

Slash.

He then slashed through it.

“Aaaaaaah-!”

So Hee’s piercing screech echoed out.

So Hee was covering her eyes with both hands.

Blood was dripping down between them.

This wanderer, whose eyes had turned white as she released light…

The core of that power was clear.

Translator’s Comments

Choi Han used slash! It blinded the target!

Trash of the Count’s Family Part 2 Chapter 377: I’m sure it was not enough (2)

Boom.

The Heavenly Demon’s foot kicked off the ground.

His body charged forward toward So Hee.

“This bastard-!

So Hee moved both hands toward the fearlessly charging Heavenly Demon.

SCREEEEEEEEECH—

White threads screeching like an animal shot out of her hands.

Top, bottom, both sides…

The white threads charged at the Heavenly Demon at all sides.

“Unbelievable…….”

So Hee’s pupils were shaking intensely as she quietly mumbled.

“I’ve never, I’m sure I’ve never-”

‘I’ve never seen this bastard before!’

Kim Hae-Yi.

She had never seen a wanderer with this face.

That meant that this bastard was at a level she didn’t need to pay attention to at all.

But not only did he realize a unique power, he was able to create his own form right here?

‘So Hee. You are truly a genius. To find a wanderer like you in the present era… I’m surprised.’

How had she been able to enter the Five Colors Bloods?

It was the result of her unique power, something that only a genius like her could create now that ancient powers were sealed.

‘In the past, people who possessed unique powers, even if they were not single-lifers, could challenge to rise past their limits to become a god. But that path was blocked because of the Divine race.’

The praises that had been directed at her…

‘Hey So Hee. You are so amazing.’

‘How can a present-day wanderer realize a unique power?’

Life as a human…

So Hee had not received much attention during that life.

However, she was able to become a wanderer because she was a single-lifer… And she was able to get accepted because of that.

“My position-”

My territory…

“How dare you try to take what is mine!”

She could not hold back the anger shooting up from her heart.

‘Before it is perfected!’

Her rational mind was moving swifter than normal.

‘Kim Hae-Yi. I have to kill this bastard before he perfects his unique power!’

This was a decision she made as a member of the Five Colors Bloods.

“He wasn’t the AI!”

This bastard was not the AI.

Rather-

“You must be the bastard from the World of the Gods who chased after us!”

The World of the Gods was currently split into two because of the God of Chaos.

This wasn’t just an abstract concept.

It actually was split into two, not allowing each side to approach the other side’s territory.

Kim Hae-Yi.

This bastard is a wanderer.

Specifically, a bastard who had dug up a significant amount of information about what my Five Colors Bloods and our alliance has been doing.

‘I need to kill him.’

If this bastard, now that he found her, reports this to the World of the Gods…

‘All of our plans could be foiled!’

So Hee subconsciously felt impatient.

‘Hey So Hee. There is a reason we are assigning you a small task to start.’

She recalled something one of the Five Colors Bloods had said to her.

But So Hee did not have the time to think about that.

She just-

‘I’m going to kill him.’

This guy tried to come into her territory.

This guy might take her spot.

She needed to make sure to kill this bastard.

SCREEEEEEEEECH—

The white threads extending toward the Heavenly Demon in all directions suddenly turned.

Crack!

Crack, crunch!

Eight threads.

A total of eight threads surrounded the Heavenly Demon and started to stab into the tournament stage.

They were moving much faster than the white threads trying to cover the stadium.

Bang!

Once the final eighth one was stabbed in…

Screeeeech-

There was a screech incomparable to any they had heard until now as countless numbers of threads burst out of the white threads.

– Cale.

The Super Rock spoke seriously as Cale watched.

– That doesn’t look good.

And as he made that assessment…

“Domain secured.”

So Hee’s eyes turned white.

“Develop domain.”

Once she said that…

Screeeeech-

The white threads instantly shot up from the ground and wrapped around the Heavenly Demon.

As they were able to imprison the Heavenly Demon in this cocoon-like white prison…

He raised his head and looked up at the sky.

“It’s done.”

The white threads tried to create this white prison to cover the Heavenly Demon’s sky, but…

Rumble-

The sky roared.

“!”

So Hee’s now white eyes scowled.

She got chills on her back.

‘Unique powers have grades as well.’

The person who recruited her to the Five Colors Bloods had said that.

‘Whether it is from nature or that person’s attribute… No matter what it is, there is a grading system.’

‘We split them up into five colors.’

The highest grade was orange.

‘You are at about the blue grade.’

Blue grade was just one above the lowest grade, black.

‘However, yours has value because it is a peculiar attribute.’

‘Fuck.’

So Hee looked up at the sky that was covered in dark red clouds and thought to herself.

“…His must be higher than mine.”

This unique power that was just created should be at minimum, the purple grade.

This little sky turned completely dark red.

The Heavenly Demon looked at this ‘sky,’ to be more specific, these squirming and rumbling dark red clouds and opened his mouth.

“Since you are under my sky-”

The Heavenly Demon knew that he was not a real god, but…

He still believed that he was the god of the Demon Cult.

That subtle gap…

That was what made him create clouds instead of a sky.

Although things like the sun also existed in the sky in addition to clouds…

The thing that those under him would see is the sky that he created.

While this would be absolutely charging to those who follow him…

While they would feel like these clouds are existences that they could fully rely on…

As long as the Heavenly Demon himself did not have any suspicions about his existence…

Underneath this dark red sky-

“This is my domain.”

Weirdly shaped animals inside the clouds, these ferocious beasts that have yet to take clear form, opened their mouths.

Rumble—

The roaring of the thunder continued.

Shaaaaaaaaaaa-

Once the dark red clouds covered even the last remaining bits of the sun’s light…

“Ah.”

People forgot about running away and looked up at the sky.

“The world-”

Had turned dark.

It had also turned red.

This was not night.

This was also not the sunset.

The light shining down from the sun changed to dark red once it passed through the dark red clouds.

Dark red light fell on the back of people’s hands and their faces.

“O, over there-”

The dark red lights touched the white threads as well.

Ssssssssss-

The white threads that had pushed off the Heavenly Demon’s presence earlier…

Those white threads were slowly starting to get dyed dark red.

The eight thick white threads trying to cover the stadium started to lose their original colors.

“Everything under the sky of the Demon is the Demon.”

The Heavenly Demon smiled brightly.

He seemed completely satisfied.

“Crazy bastard.”

Cale said that while looking at him.

He heard other voices behind his back.

The people who had been frantically trying to escape shouted.

“Internal ki works now! Internal ki is leaving dents!”

The white threads.

Those threads that seemed immune to internal ki earlier were starting to get damaged.

“It only works on the spots that have been dyed dark red! Attack those spots!”

It wasn’t working on every spot.

Only on the now dark red areas.

Only the spots that the dark red light touched was vulnerable to internal ki.

– The people of the Central Plains, the believers of the Demon Cult, they use internal ki.

The Super Rock commented in disbelief.

– This is surprising. This Heavenly Demon bastard really is the Heavenly Demon. He has a power that will get stronger the bigger the Demon Cult grows.

The ancient powers that Cale possessed were all powers that created strong impact by themselves.

However, the Heavenly Demon had created a power that would make the Demon Cult itself, the people who followed him, strong.

That-

– That is the path of the Heavenly Demon.

It was exactly as the Super Rock said.

At that moment…

“Ahh, dodge!”

People started to scream.

“Domain expand.”

So Hee did not sit still.

The white threads trying to cover the stadium…

Those threads quickly changed directions.

Before they could get dyed by the dark red light.

Screeeech-

“Ahhhh, my, my leg!”

It charged at anybody it could find.

Those threads quickly wrapped around the person.

“Ugh!”

They then started to suck out their nutrients.

The white threads became brighter white and stronger.

It was like a spider eating its prey on its web.

And-

Shhhhh-

So Hee’s now white eyes glowed even brighter and a white aura started to appear around her body.

“It’s a bad idea to look down on me.”

A smile appeared on So Hee’s face.

‘Not yet-’

I won’t lose to Kim Hae-Yi yet.

She wet her lips with her tongue.

“There are a lot of prey.”

There was a lot of life force, her meal, around them.

The smile grew bigger on her face and she moved her hand again.

Bang!

This time, she kicked off the ground and charged toward the Heavenly Demon.

The white thread that was wrapped around the Heavenly Demon’s arm was still connected to her hand.

That thread was slowly getting dyed dark red, but…

“Domain Reset.”

Screeeeech-

White started to cover the dark red again.

“Truly-”

The Heavenly Demon opened his mouth.

“It would not be easy to handle you on my own.”

It was not easy to create this new power and control it.

As a small amount of blood dripped down the Heavenly Demon’s mouth…

“However-”

However…

“You are the one who should not look down on us.”

“What?”

As So Hee was about to ask…

Screeeeech-

The white thread connecting her to the Heavenly Demon…

As it was turning back white and there wasn’t much dark red left on it…

A strand of light shot down from the sky.

Baaaaaang!

So Hee urgently moved back.

“……!”

She could see the white thread fluttering in front of her.

The thread that had been connected to the Heavenly Demon…

The thread that would have allowed her to suck out his life force…

That was cut off.

“Who are you?”

She looked toward the spot between herself and the Heavenly Demon.

At the center…

The existence that had sliced the small remaining amount of dark red on the thread…

“Now there are people I can leave the stadium to.”

Choi Han addressed the Heavenly Demon as if he was making an excuse and looked at Cale.

Nod.

Choi Han looked away from the nodding Cale and stood in front of the Heavenly Demon.

“They survived thanks to you.”

He was thanking the Heavenly Demon.

This was the truth.

Slash!

Alberu sliced through one of the threads that were dyed dark red and shouted to the people around him.

“Drag everybody wrapped up in the threads to under the light! Then get rid of the threads!”

There was something people could do now.

Actually, the people of the Lan Kingdom were already on the move even without Alberu saying anything.

“Ugh!”

“Please wait a moment! Okay, good. We will cut through the thread now!”

The dark red light…

Rumble-

The rumbling in the sky did not stop, and the sunlight that came through the Heavenly Demon’s clouds continued to shine dark red light onto the ground.

The threads could not help but be pushed back by this unending light.

Drip.

However, the amount of blood dripping out of the Heavenly Demon’s mouth increased.

“For me to do something similar to Kim Hae-il…”

The Heavenly Demon laughed in disbelief before seeing a masked man appear in between Choi Han and himself.

“What is like me?”

It was Cale.

He was covering his face with a mask despite being blonde right now and stood in front of the Heavenly Demon.

“Try a little harder. You might as well use your new power properly.”

Cale commented.

“I’ll handle the wanderer.”

Clang!

Choi Han pulled out his sword and charged toward So Hee.

Choi Han had the power to slice through the white thread from the beginning.

He could now run wild since he didn’t need to protect anybody.

“Mm.”

Cale heard the Heavenly Demon’s disappointed groan and nonchalantly responded.

“Give that guy a chance too.”

“I suppose so.”

The Heavenly Demon immediately stopped being disappointed.

Choi Han.

This guy had basically met the worst enemy of his family.

“…….”

The Heavenly Demon watched the running Choi Han and Cale in front of him.

The Heavenly Demon smiled after seeing these two people protecting him.

Maybe this was the most meaningful moment in this world.

Maybe he was learning about a joy that he had never felt in his life until now.

“…….”

The Heavenly closed his eyes.

He then focused on the power rising up from inside him.

The sky of the Demon.

Inside of it, the Heavenly Demon put the faith that turned a human into a god as well as the emotions he had just felt as a human.

He thought that it might be important to put this emotion in it as well.

It made sense since he decided to live his life as a human.

Baaaaaang!

He peacefully closed his eyes despite the loud explosion.

Ruuuumble-

However, the rumbling in the sky became louder.

It was so loud that the NPC and users, basically everybody outside the stadium, were focused on it.

“Ugh! Where did another bastard like this appear?!”

So Hee’s pupils were shaking while looking at the black yong open its jaws toward her.

Baaaaaang!

This black yong made of a violent black aura…

The sword stationed at the center of that yong and Choi Han, who was charging at her without any hesitation…

A wanderer.

This person had been for Choi Han to take down from the beginning.

Choi Han’s violent black yong charged toward the enemy under this dark red sky.

It was dying the white light black as it moved.

Trash of the Count’s Family Part 2 Chapter 376: I’m sure it was not enough (1)

However, there were people who could not just sit and watch as Cale’s group was doing.

No, most couldn’t watch.

“Hwa In is So Hee?!”

“T, this is not possible! How could she do something like this?!”

The regular citizens as well as the leaders of the kingdom…

Since this competition would place the winner as the next ruler of the Lan Kingdom, they were all reacting significantly to the fact that Hwa In was So Hee.

However, the people who could think deeper and make better judgments…

The leaders of the different groups, or-

“This-”

People at Queen Tamahi’s level had different reactions.

“Martial Scholar.”

“Yes, Your Majesty.”

Cha Run’s voice was shaking.

“This, no matter how I look at it, Hwa In seems to be the mask and So Hee seems to be her true face. This means that the Alliance leader has been hiding her identity this whole time, right, sir?”

It was the same for the Queen.

She was subconsciously speaking respectfully to Cha Run as she used to do when she was a kid.

“and that power-”

Her finger was shaking while pointing at Kim Hae-Yi.

“That thing, I think I understand it now.”

Oooooo– oooooo–

The moment she saw this dark red aura that was slowly getting larger…

She felt like she could understand the identity of this power now that it was bigger.

Well, to speak accurately, she didn’t know the identity of this power.

However, she had seen something similar to this before.

“Those people-, I’m sure this is the power of the wanderers.”

The intruder with the strong power who had made it so that Queen Tamahi could not move as she pleased…

She was sure that this was similar to that power.

Because it was her first time seeing something like that.

“They are all different, but-”

The two wanderers she had met until now…

“It is their own unique aura that only they possess.”

It was a power that Tamahi could not have, the thing that made her despair.

“…Kim Hae-Yi is a wanderer?”

As the mumbling Tamahi’s eyes were about to shake in despair…

“Your Majesty.”

She heard Cha Run’s calm voice.

“The situation is very odd for that to be the case.”

“… I am aware of it.”

Because-

To everybody who was looking right now-

“The suspicious one is actually the Alliance leader of the Cooperative Alliance, Hwa In.”

It was at that moment.

SCREEEEEEEEECH—-

A dreadful noise similar to that of a dying animal echoed out through the stage.

“!”

Even someone like Queen Tamahi, who had been training for decades, subconsciously flinched at that sound. As her shoulders curled up and she touched her ears…

“Ugh!”

“Ow, my ear!”

The regular people grabbed their ears or their heads.

“Your Majesty!”

Tamahi looked up at the stage after hearing her guard’s voice.

“!”

As the dark red aura was about to take over all of the stage…

There was a strand of white starting to rise up.

“Mmph!”

She subconsciously took a deep breath.

It was a pure white color that was not glowing at all.

This white streak that rose up like a thread was coming from Hwa In, no, So Hee’s hand.

“Ah-”

A single strand of white rising up in this ominous dark red aura.

Tamahi could only think of one thing as she looked at that streak.

‘Death.’

She didn’t know the reason.

The moment she looked at that white streak, Tamahi felt as if she saw an illusion where her head was sliced off.

SCREEEEEEEEECH—

The eerie sound reaching her ear felt like a final cry from someone close to death.

Black was not the only color of death.

Sometimes, white was better at expressing death clearly.

It was a white paper that did not allow for any flaws, a pure white with nothing on it.

SCREEEEEEEEECH—

The end of the white streak started to split as it shot up toward the sky.

Screeeech-

The streak split into eight arcs and started to cover the stage.

SCREEEEEEEEECH—!

The screeching became louder.

Tamahi could not move.

She felt like the white streak would slice her head off the moment she moved.

That white streak felt as if it would cover the stage.

‘Ah-’

That allowed her to figure it out.

‘A spiderweb-’

This white streak resembled a spiderweb.

Furthermore, she felt like prey stuck on the spiderweb.

It was at that moment.

Boom!

The stage rumbled.

“!”

Queen Tamahi could see the dark red aura start to roar.

As for Kim Hae-Yi, who was at the center of that dark red aura…

He stomped his foot.

Boom!

The stadium rumbled again.

The dark red aura then started to move toward the white streak following his gesture.

Once that happened-

“…….”

She could breathe again.

Kim Hae-Yi.

“…That person is not the enemy-”

The moment he stomped his foot and moved his aura toward the white streak…

“Haaaaaaaaaa!”

“Huff, huff.”

The regular people started to breathe again.

It allowed them to look away from the white streak that made even Queen Tamahi feel suffocated and start breathing.

This dark red aura that looked ominous but charmed people to keep looking at it was protecting them.

It spread out as if to protect the common people and created a large wall around the stage.

“Your Majesty!”

Cha Run’s aged voice was full of despair and Tamahi flinched.

“!”

Someone had approached her at that moment.

Swoooooooosh-

It was a blonde man with a whirlwind at his ankle.

The man, whose face was covered by a bamboo hat, started speaking.

“You must evacuate everyone.”

She could see that it was a young man when he raised the bamboo hat.

At that moment…

Boom!

The ground rumbled again.

One of the white streaks was stabbed outside the stage.

Ziiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing–!

White smoke and smaller threads started spreading out from it.

It resembled a capillary or a spiderweb.

If all eight of these streaks stabbed into the ground and released smoke and smaller threads…

‘We will be swallowed!’

They would be similar to the prey wrapped up on spiderwebs.

Everybody in this stadium would end up like that.

“Holy shit! Internal ki doesn’t work against this!’

Someone had launched an attack toward the smaller threads.

It wasn’t that internal ki did not work.

It was just that internal ki weaker than the threads could not affect it at all.

“Move!”

“Aaaaaaaaaah-!”

“W, we need to run!”

People were starting to fill with chaos.

“…….”

The man wearing the bamboo hat…

Tamahi stared at Alberu before opening her mouth.

“Start the evacuation immediately!”

Her vassals started to follow her command.

Boom!

Drums echoed out in all directions and administrators popped up to guide the spectators and open gates.

“We cannot open gate 7! It is blocked!”

The eight gates…

The white streaks were piercing down as if to stab in front of all gates.

One gate was already blocked.

“Gate 5, gate 5 will soon as well!”

One of the administrators shouted in despair.

“Move!”

The Snow Flower Sect’s Hyun Seong stepped forward and launched an attack.

The tip of her spear aimed for the white streak, but…

Baaaaaang!

There was only a loud explosion; she could not even make a dent on the streak.

‘How is this possible?’

Hyun Seong got goosebumps throughout her body when she clashed against that white streak.

This-

‘What is this?’

Her internal ki was bounced off.

Her attack couldn’t reach it.

The white streak was an eccentric presence.

It was neither aura nor magic.

‘What can be used to defeat this?’

Even as Hyun Seong’s mind was whiting out, the white streak looked as if it would stab in front of Gate 5.

“Fuck! Turn these people somewhere else!”

As Hyun Seong looked back and shouted at the administrator…

“Please move.”

She could see a man wearing a bamboo hat.

The red-haired man…

The moment he extended his sword…

“!”

Hyun Seong got goosebumps once more.

“Ah.”

A black strand as rough as a thunderbolt brushed forward past her body.

Slash-

The white streak was cut apart.

Shh.

The red-haired man raised his bamboo hat to let her see a man with an innocent face.

“Please evacuate everyone.”

Choi Han started moving again after leaving that comment.

The eight gates…

He was moving to defend them.

‘That’s what Cale-nim said.’

He thought about Cale, who was quietly standing there looking at the stage while everybody was frantically trying to escape.

‘Choi Han. Your highness.’

Cale opened his mouth to speak.

‘I think this power is something related to a domain.’

Cale shared what the Super Rock had said with everyone.

‘That white streak is similar to Choi Han’s aura domain. I think it is not just a regular aura but her unique power.’

That’s what the Super Rock had said.

‘Similar to ancient powers.’

– That, that is an ancient power. It is the same as us.

– But it is stronger than us.

– If we are new sprouts, that is a whole tree.

‘I think it would be quite the headache if we get stuck inside this domain.’

Cale had decided what needed to be done the moment he saw the white streak.

‘Your highness, you deal with the Queen.

Choi Han, you help people evacuate.’

Oooooo– oooooo–

Choi Han heard a low rumbling.

A faint aura that others could not notice yet was around Cale.

The Heavenly Demon.

So Hee.

Cale was actually the person here with the strongest aura domain, one that could not compare to anybody else.

‘I’ll help if the Heavenly Demon is put in a difficult situation.’

That was why Choi Han could not say anything to Cale and left his side.

“…….”

However, he planned on making a move if Cale ever fell into danger.

The Wanderers.

They were his prey.

Boom!

The ground shook again at that moment.

Choi Han’s gaze moved to the stage for a moment.

The match wasn’t over despite people running away.

“I’ll need to at least capture you.”

So Hee was smiling while extending her hand toward the Heavenly Demon.

The white streak was held like a sword in her hand.

SCREEEEEEEEECH—

It let out that air-slicing terrible screech and charged toward the Heavenly Demon.

Death could be felt clearly from that streak.

“Ha, hahaha-”

The Heavenly Demon started to laugh while looking at that streak.

Choi Han looked away and mumbled in a low voice.

“…He’s definitely crazy.”

The Heavenly Demon.

He was talking about that bastard.

However, there was a subtle smile visible on Choi Han’s face.

“I think I understand.”

There was nobody here to know what he was talking about. Choi Han didn’t have time to tell anybody either.

Slash.

His sword was constantly moving without stopping so that the white thread could not capture people.

“Hahaha-”

The lethargy that the still laughing Heavenly Demon usually slowed was gone.

He was laughing brightly as if he was amused.

Oooooo– oooooo–

The white streak was headed toward him without any hesitation despite the dark red aura.

The Heavenly Demon quietly watched it.

He looked at So Hee beyond it as well.

Smile.

So Hee was smiling.

Her force was like the calm sea since releasing her white streak.

It showed no signs of shaking and showed no end.

SCREEEEEEEEECH—

This silence, which did not match the eerie cry, made her look like a different existence, an existence that was hard to approach.

“It’s not easy, is it?”

Once So Hee said that…

As she finished her statement…

Oooooo-

The white streak moved past the dark red aura and was right in front of the Heavenly Demon.

So Hee chuckled.

“A unique power that has not created a form isn’t that useful.”

The Heavenly Demon extended his hand.

The dark red aura touched the white streak.

Chhhhhhhhh-

There was a sizzling sound as the dark red aura was pushed back.

The smile then disappeared from the Heavenly Demon’s face.

But So Hee’s smile became bigger.

Baaaaang!

As the Heavenly Demon’s hand that was covered in the dark red aura tried to grasp the white streak…

“Mm.”

The Heavenly Demon’s hand and body was flung away.

“…….”

He took one step back.

He looked down at his feet that were pushed back.

“Hoo hoo-”

So Hee laughed and waved her hand.

The white streak naturally followed as if it was her hand.

Screeeech—!

The white streak cut through the air and moved as swiftly as the wind as it grasped the Heavenly Demon’s wrist.

Ssss–

It then started to climb up his arm.

It wrapped the Heavenly Demon’s arm like a cast.

It was similar to a spider wrapping up its prey.

“…….”

The Heavenly Demon was still looking at his feet that had been pushed back.

“You are standing still?”

So Hee did not hide her smile.

“Ah-”

She raised her head.

She could see the sky through the gaps in the white streak.

Even that sky would soon be stuck inside her cocoon.

“I could have just killed everybody like this from the beginning.”

‘I made things harder for myself.

I should have just done this.’

“It looks like the annoying things will be lessened.”

“Yes.”

– !

So Hee flinched.

She looked down.

Kim Hae-Yi was still standing there with his head down.

But it was definitely the Heavenly Demon who just answered, ‘yes.’

She heard his voice again.

“Yes. Thanks to you, the number of annoying things has gone down.”

So Hee scowled.

“What did you say……?”

What was this bastard saying right now?

She was not planning to kill this bastard right now because she was extremely curious about this identity.

However, this arrogance he was showing made her scowl.

The Heavenly Demon responded.

“It’s nothing much.”

He raised his head.

The Heavenly Demon was smiling.

“I just want to thank you.”

“…What?”

So Hee flinched as she asked.

She raised her head.

She heard the Heavenly Demon’s voice.

“Thanks to you, I figured out how I am supposed to use this power. Thank you very much.”

His voice was extremely calm.

“Uniqueness you say-”

Uniqueness.

“Create my own form-”

It was extremely good advice.

It was quite fitting too.

The first time the Heavenly Demon saw the shape of this power was through Choi Han, but-

‘Uniqueness and form.’

An answer popped up once he heard that.

“… Kim Hae-il-”

Kim Hae-il, the man who controlled nature itself. No, Cale Henituse.

Compared to So Hee in front of him-

Cale’s power was more like a ‘god.’

‘Ah.’

He saw the answer.

The Heavenly Demon saw a path beyond Choi Han’s level.

‘I can do something like that with this aura of mine?’

He soon came to an answer.

The Heavenly Demon thought to himself while looking down at his feet that had been pushed back.

I cannot be pushed back.

Why?

I am the heaven of the Demon Cult.

“Yes.”

I…

“Am the sky.”

I am the god of the Demon Cult, the heaven of the Demon Cult.

“…U… unbelievable-”

So Hee’s pupils started shaking while looking up at the sky.

Choi Han also stopped swinging his sword and looked up at the sky.

“As expected, you figured it out too.”

However…

“I’m the one who is late this time.”

A smile full of competitive spirit appeared on Choi Han’s face.

“Ha!”

As for crown prince Alberu, he finally got to experience Choi Han and the Heavenly Demon’s paths, the level he had yet to achieve.

As his eyes boiled with desire…

– Cale.

Cale heard the Super Rock’s voice as he looked up at the sky.

– It is not the sky attribute. They are clouds.

The Super Rock’s voice sounded deeply amazed.

– Enough clouds to cover the sky-

He spoke after a long time as if he was swept up by intense emotion.

– …An ancient power is being born right now!

The spiderweb made of white streaks.

The sky outside of it, the real sky, was fluctuating.

A cloud appeared.

That cloud slowly turned dark red.

It started to squirm.

It felt similar to watching a predatory beast curl up before extending its body.

“Haaaa, really.”

Cale looked at the Heavenly Demon with disbelief.

Smile.

The Heavenly Demon was already looking at Cale. He smiled once at Cale before looking away.

He then moved his hand.

“Ugh!”

So Hee lowered her head.

She looked down.

Her foot had been pulled one step forward.

She looked forward.

The Heavenly Demon was holding the white streak and pulling it toward him.

“…This bastard-”

So Hee bit down on her lips but could not move so easily.

Rumble-

The sky started to roar…

No, the clouds.

The ominous but charming dark red cloud started to cover the sky.

This was the sky that the Heavenly Demon had created.
