Trash of the Count’s Family Part 2 Chapter 397: The Birth of Evil (14)

“Ah-”

The small egg…

The residents of the Seventh Evil, who had come to Cotton Candy Castle, all subconsciously almost bowed once they saw the egg.

“……!”

The spies from the other Eight Evils, who had stealthily camouflaged themselves as residents of the Seventh Evil, gasped after seeing themselves react like this too.

They were not regular dwellers or low-ranking monsters. They were experts with enough skill to be dispatched for a mission like this, but even they almost felt pressure and bowed their heads after just looking at it.

“…….”

“…….”

Their faces stiffened.

The new boss of the Seventh Evil who was about to be born…

Everything was extraordinary even before he was born.

Even more than the other bosses of the rest of the Eight Evils.

What would that mean?

“Ahh ahh-”

“Oh……!”

The monsters at the mid-level positions in the Seventh Evil gasped and moaned with joy as they welcomed the pressure surrounding them.

Cotton Candy Castle.

The mid-level and higher monsters who had been discontent about not being able to make it inside the castle…

Boom!

Boom!

They knelt down toward the small egg and bowed their heads.

“Finally, a true liege to lead us-!”

They could feel it even better as strong figures within the Seventh Evil.

There were over 120,000 creatures here.

This existence was releasing pressure toward all of them.

However, that pressure did not make them feel suffocated.

It just spread out in all directions with the wind.

Egg.

Even while being inside the egg, this existence was releasing the aura of a ruler.

“Ah-”

“Ahh……!”

The regular dwellers and low-ranking monsters who watched shook in fear from the pressure for a bit before gasping and following the other bosses.

They knelt down or bowed their heads toward the egg or raised up both hands toward it.

They became shocked as they did this.

Their bodies felt so comfortable as if they were extremely familiar with these movements.

There had been two final bosses in the Seventh Evil until now, but feeling like this was a first for them.

“!”

“!!”

They gasped at what happened next.

Caw- caw-

The vast plain with the Cotton Candy Castle at the center…

The forest surrounding it…

Black crows all shot up at the same time from the forest.

They all cawed in unison before landing on branches or the ground.

They opened up their wings and posed as if they were humans bowing.

Clack. Clack.

The skeletons that had been moving from all around the continent to get here finally arrived at the plains.

They-

Boom!

All knelt down on one knee at the same time as if they were given an order.

Whether they looked like monsters or humans… All of the skeletons knelt down on one knee and looked up at the egg as if they were knights.

“…What a great spectacle……”

The spies from the Empires and Kingdoms that had stealthily hid in the forest to watch from a distance pretended not to see the others as they stood there, unable to hide the chill running down their spines.

“…Truly,”

The Eight Evils.

A new boss was appearing.

They had not thought much about it, but still had been urgently dispatched here after these serious signs and phenomenon.

As they were sent to infiltrate one of the Eight Evils, they were all the highest-grade experts of their respective nations.

But they were all feeling it right now.

One of the Magic Tower Masters, who had come here at the request of the Emperor, quietly mumbled.

“…Truly, this is the birth of a great evil-”

How ominous.

An egg releasing the aura of a ruler from underneath the dark red cloud.

What was to hatch from this egg?

Everybody could tell that this looked like a Dragon egg.

The last final boss of the Seventh Evil was a Dragon, so they could easily predict that this boss would also be a Dragon.

But did Dragons normally hatch like this?

“…Demon King……”

One of the spies subconsciously said one of the forbidden words that had spread throughout the area.

The others pretended not to hear him, but those words became etched in their minds.

An ominous feeling.

This feeling originated from around that egg.

Was it the birth of an enemy that would threaten this world?

In that case-

The moment he is born-

‘Shouldn’t we get rid of him?’

Even if we do not have the power to do so…

Before he grows even stronger-

Gulp.

Someone gulped.

All of the spies were having similar thoughts.

They weren’t the only ones.

The spies from the rest of the Eight Evils were having similar thoughts.

“Huut!”

“Uhh-!”

But the situation quickly changed before they could think more about it.

Everything suddenly gathered at once.

Swooooooosh-

The wind suddenly became strong.

Shhhhhhhh-

So strong that the leaves in the forest fell to the ground.

So much that the branches were shaking.

An extremely intense gust of wind.

Plop. Plop.

Then it started to rain.

The rain started to drip one drop at a time until it poured.

Shaaaaaaaa–!

The blasting gust of wind and the pouring rain that made it difficult to see…

“Ugh!”

“Ugh!”

The ones facing these things groaned and could not think straight.

“……!”

“!”

But the large group of creatures… The 120,000 creatures couldn’t say anything and just blankly stared at the egg.

The vast plains covered by the dark red sky…

The wind and rain was blasting every area except this area.

This place remained peaceful.

“…….”

“…….”

They did not dare to open their mouths.

They finally realized that the pressure covering them did not come with fear and despair.

They realized that it was a power that just revealed its existence to them.

It was like the king of a nation looking after his people.

The touch of a king who was full of dignity but made his people certain that he would not harm them.

“Ah-”

Someone gasped.

In the middle of all this chaos, just this place…

Only the place with the residents of the Seventh Evil was safe.

“There are spies!”

“Some bastards have snuck in!”

The boss-level monsters quickly realized what was happening in the forest.

That was why they couldn’t help but look at the unhatched egg with even more awe.

Their former boss, Dragon Neo, had never protected them.

No, that was the case in most of the Eight Evils.

Most cruelly controlled those under them by force.

The Sixth Evil and the Third Evil were the only ones with some affection toward their followers.

Boom!

The ground shook intensely at that moment.

Clack!

The skeletons all flattened themselves to the ground.

Flutter!

The crows did not caw and all flew up toward the sky.

They then created a large circle at the border of the plains and the forest.

The skeletons on the ground.

The crows in the sky.

As the others realized that these creatures created a barrier…

“…….”

Cale was focused on one thing.

[Recovery rate 99.9999%]

His friends who were with him on the highest floor were looking at him.

The Heavenly Demon was looking at Cale, who was fine after using his aura alone to cover the entirety of this vast plain, with an odd gaze.

Shh.

Cale raised his hand.

[Recovery rate 100%]

And once he lowered it…

Cale headed toward the window.

Craaaaaaack-

The egg started to crack.

Eden Miru was starting to hatch.

“Let’s go.”

Swooooooosh-

Wind gathered by Cale’s feet.

“It’s starting!’

Raon used an invisibility spell on Cale and himself.

The two of them kicked off the window and flew up.

They then headed toward the egg.

Nobody would be able to see them.

But it didn’t matter.

Craaaaaaack-

– Human, Eden Miru is starting to hatch!

Someone should be by Eden Miru’s side.

Even if this is a great birth, someone needed to be there to welcome a newly born existence.

“Get started.”

Cale commented in a low voice.

Raon raised his head.

He saw the dark red cloud.

He looked down.

The small egg…

The egg with a profound and mysterious color that was a mix of black, gold, and purple would mysteriously head toward the one who gave off those colors.

Craaaaaaack-

The crack became bigger.

“Hehe!”

Raon, who was watching this while invisible, flapped his wings and extended his chubby front paws to the side.

Ooooooooong-

Black mana started to gather around the dark red cloud.

Others would not be able to notice the mana because of the cloud.

Raon was excited.

Destroying things was fun, but…

Looting was fun, but…

There was no danger of anybody getting hurt right now.

Nobody had to be placed in danger.

He didn’t need to think about protecting anybody.

There was only one thing for Raon to do today.

‘Celebrate!’

Eden Miru.

He just needed to celebrate the Dragon half-blood’s birth.

Raon felt the gathering mana and subconsciously mumbled to himself.

“…Mom……”

He was shocked by what he had just said.

Sheritt.

She And Eden Miru.

They were family, just like Cale, On, Hong, and Choi Han were his family, but these two Dragons felt a bit different.

Pat pat.

The invisible Cale patted Raon’s head.

‘Yes, everything is fine now!’

“Hehe!”

Raon was happy right now.

His wings fluttered even stronger and, as if reacting to it…

Clap!

Raon’s two front paws came together.

At that moment…

Oooooooo— ooooooo–

The sky started to cry.

The invisible Raon’s way of celebrating Eden Miru…

That was by showing Eden Miru’s strength.

Rumble-

A thunderbolt slowly started to show itself beneath the dark red sky.

The Heavenly Demon moved his hand toward the sky.

The dark red sky started to split.

It was as if the thunderbolt had split the dark red cloud.

The moment the egg started to crack…

The moment a new life was about to be born…

The ominous feeling became covered as a thunderbolt, as light revealed itself.

“It has started.”

At a mountain a bit farther away…

Eruhaben, who was watching everything, slowly moved his hand.

Ssssss—

White gold mana was roaming around him.

The ancient Dragon looked toward the little egg.

He remembered that light that tried to protect everybody in the past.

The light that looked like a large Dragon…

“Yes.”

As he watched the white gold current appear through the splitting dark red cloud…

“You are light.”

The Dragon half-blood.

No, Eden Miru.

That kid was light.

[Title: Half Human Half Dragon possessing light and time]

Even this game accepted him like that.

“Then it should be a birth fitting that characteristic.”

As wind and rain gusted from all directions…

The dark red cloud split open, and…

A white gold thunderbolt struck down toward the ground.

“!”

“……!”

The inhabitants of the Seventh Evil couldn’t even shout because they were so shocked. They could only curl up their bodies.

But the thunderbolt slowly disappeared before striking them and the ground.

Shhhh—

Instead, it turned into white gold dust.

It felt like the thunderbolt split and turned into dusts of light.

“…….”

“…….”

Plop. Plop.

Those light dust fell to the ground and the inhabitants of the Seventh Evil.

Low ranking monsters, adults, young and old… Everybody saw the light cut through the dark red cloud and turn into dust to fall on them.

They could not close their eyes.

It was because most of the dust from the light spread through the sky like the milky way.

The egg at the center of it…

Craaaaaaack-

The egg finally cracked enough for everybody to see it.

“Ah-”

He looked holy.

The ominous feelings disappeared.

This extremely beautiful sight made their hearts thump.

It felt like a hero was being born.

Whether they were from the Seventh Evil, the rest of the Eight Evils, or even other nations, nobody could think as they watched this feast of light.

In fact, the ones with higher positions started to shake while watching this.

They had realized it.

This was no simple evil being.

How could an evil being let out such a beautiful light?

They had realized it.

‘This is an amazing evil.’

Good and evil… An existence that might shake the hearts of both the good and evil might be hatching right now.

Craaaaaaack-

The egg completely cracked.

– Human, he’s hatching!

As Raon shouted…

– Ah!

‘Mm!’

Both Cale and Raon became anxious.

Paaaaaaaaaaaaat!

A bright light burst out from the egg.

– This is true light.

As the Super Rock mentioned, a true light, not one that Raon and Eruhaben had created, burst out of the egg.

It was so bright that Cale subconsciously closed his eyes.

But he could still faintly make out something at the center of the light.

He subconsciously extended his hand out as he closed his eyes.

Squish.

He touched something.

He realized that it was a front paw.

It was a bit squishier than when Raon was little, so he instantly realized it.

He gently grabbed the front paw and pulled.

Something came into his arms.

The invisible Cale…

He knew what he needed to do before this light disappeared.

He gently rubbed the smooth back and raised the small being in his arm high up above his head.

Then the light subsided.

– Human, it’s Eden Miru!

The invisible Cale and Raon looked at the milky way created by the radiant white gold dust.

They could see a small Dragon at the center of it.

Eden Miru was half human, half Dragon, but he was currently in the form of a baby Dragon.

The Dragon that was so small that he fit in Cale’s hands, so small that he was safely being supported by Cale’s hands, slowly opened his eyes.

The Dragon lowered his head as if he knew who was supporting him right now.

“…….”

“…….”

Cale and Eden Miru looked at each other.

Cale flinched.

He saw reddish brown eyes just like his own.

He also saw a black body like Raon.

But the numerous golden designs on the black body made him think of the milky way.

And the two little purple horns on his head…

A half human, half Dragon possessing light and time.

Eden Miru.

Eyes as round as Raon’s curled up into a smile that resembled crescent moons.

– Thanks.

He heard a voice in his mind through magic.

It was an extremely young voice, but it belonged to Eden Miru.

– I like the name.

Eden Miru was finally getting to thank Cale.

A quest window popped up in front of Cale at that moment.

[Quest completed!]

He had finished another sub quest.

[An amazing legend has been created!]

‘Yes. It is amazing.’

[Birth Ceremony Progression 302%]

‘I wonder how good the rewards are going to be.

I got a SSS+++ reward for 300%, but this is a bit higher than that.

I wonder what I will get?’

As Cale blankly had that thought…

[*The legend, the Birth of the Light Dragon, the ‘Holy Evil’ is recorded in New World!]

‘Huh?’

Cale flinched.

‘What Dragon?

Light Dragon.

They said Light Dragon, right?

But…this feels a bit off?

It is Light Dragon and not Lunatic Dragon, right? (TL: Korean ‘gwang’ can be used for light or crazy. It obviously doesn’t work in English)

Yeah, there is no way Eden Miru would be a lunatic Dragon.’

Cale lifted his head up.

The Dragon small enough to fit in his two hands…

Eden Miru was very- uhh, mm-

– Human, Eden Miru is so cute! As expected of our youngest!

‘Uhh…he’s over 900 years old, but he is cute.’

Even Cale had to admit that Eden Miru’s current appearance was very cute.

Eden Miru himself did not seem to realize this yet.

“Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa—!”

They heard loud cheers at that moment.

Cale lowered his head.

As Sheritt had wanted…

Over 120,000 individuals were cheering the birth of a Dragon so small they couldn’t even really see.

Many gazes were looking up at Eden Miru with admiration, respect, or joy.

– Hehe! Success!

Raon was happy.

‘Well, this is nice.’

Cale was quite happy too.

The two of them didn’t know that Eden Miru’s face looked a bit despondent right now.

And at the same time…

“Hoo hoo-”

Clopeh Sekka confirmed that all of it was recorded in the video recording device and immediately got started with part 2 of the process.

“Please spread this around the world.”

New World, Earth 3…

Spread it everywhere.

Cale was looking at the cheering crowd and he did not realize that changes were happening to the quest window.

[Birth Ceremony Progression 307%]

[Birth Ceremony Progression 308%]

[Birth Ceremony Progression 309%]

The progression rate was continuing to rise.

Cale had yet to realize the seriousness of Clopeh Sekka.
